Services

Water Supply: The development is served by a production borehole as well as a backup borehole to facilitate routine maintenance. The water will be pumped to an elevated reservoir from where it will gravitate into the water reticulation system. Each plot will have a water connection with a water meter installed.

Road network: A winding gravel road with a speed limit of 40km/h will serve the estate. Storm water structures will be placed strategically to accommodate any storm water flow that might affect the road.

Sewer reticulation: To minimize the effect of construction work on the natural surroundings, septic tanks with soak away drains will be installed for every plot. 

Electricity: The electricity supply for all the homes, the borehole pumps, the guard house as well as the electric fence will be via solar power. The favourable solar regime in Namibia with more than 6 effective hours a day provides the basis for solar power generation as an attractive and economical alternative to grid electricity.

Safety and security: Access to Mountain View will be through one secure entrance with a guard house. A 2,4m high single electric fence will be installed on the outer perimeter of the estate.

Mountain View is situated in an area of gently sloping natural bushveld, punctuated by hills and out crops. Each plot boasts its own unique setting, giving each owner the opportunity to enjoy their own surroundings from all angles. The estate consists of 28 plots ranging in size between 20 and 100 hectares, each special in their own unique way.
